Editorial policy
Our rules for sources, product claims, translations and corrections.
Evidence before a conclusion
We prioritize exact-model manuals and official manufacturer information for specifications and operating limits. Where available, owner feedback is contextual evidence rather than a controlled test. We identify desk research clearly and do not claim to have bought, measured or tested equipment without a documented test. We never invent products, purchase reviews, ratings or review counts.
Unknowns remain visible
A search result is a discovery lead, not a complete product review. An inaccessible listing cannot supply a trustworthy price or review consensus. Comparisons separate verified facts, manufacturer claims and our practical interpretation. Sponsored or affiliate relationships must be disclosed, and commercial arrangements do not turn unsupported claims into evidence.
Corrections and language versions
Our 13 language editions aim to preserve the same meaning, source limits and cautions. Tell us the page address, language and supporting source when requesting a correction. We review source changes and correct material errors. Translation, publication or an updated date alone does not mean that new hands-on testing occurred.
